I could see the sweat beading on his forehead. Before he could respond, Tarian moved in quickly, and caught him by his arm.“Take us to your office in this building. We know that you have one here.”

“What? No!” the manager shrieked.

I punched him on his face just enough to dislocate his nose. “Now!” I growled.

In less than ten minutes, we were on the way to their hidden office in this building. In his dreams, Morelli wouldn’t have thought that he would be able to uncover his real office where all his shady real estate deals were carried out.
