Janelle and her ex–husband had long since fallen out. She never dared to tell Antonio that her cheating led to the divorce.

She hadn’t worked since getting married. The divorce left her with nothing, so she turned to Antonio, pretending she still had feelings for him to justify her return.

But what if the truth came out and Antonio found out the child was another man’s?

“Antonio can never find out!” Janelle promised herself.

After the check–up, Janelle looked really worried. Antonio thought she was stressing about the baby and tried to comfort her. “Don’t worry. From now on, we’ll focus on the baby.”

Janelle forced a smile.
