In no time, everything was organized. The two of them sat side by side on one side of the desk while Mateo sat on the opposite big chair with books in hand. He held a ruler and lightly tapped on the desk, glancing at the two of them. "Page ten, please."

"Oh."

Veronica responded and opened to page ten, while Matthew obediently followed along.
