Chapter 46

Aaron rubbed his temples, his voice cold as he spoke, "Who told you that Serena pushed Cynthia?"

Matthew was momentarily speechless.

He glanced at Cynthia Lynwood.

Only then did he remember-Cynthia Lynwood hadn't said a word about Serena pushing her from the start.

Aaron's gaze shifted to Cynthia Lynwood as well.

"Cynthia, was it Serena who pushed you?"

Cynthia Lynwood wanted nothing more than to blame Serena, but there was a dangerous undertone in Aaron's deep, magnetic voice that gave her an ominous feeling.

Reluctantly, she said, "Matthew, you misunderstood, it wasn't Serena who pushed me. I got too excited and accidentally fell."

Matthew's expression froze for a moment before he retorted, "You were excited because she provoked you. In the end, it's her fault that you fell. You're not well; how could she not give you some space?"

Listening to Matthew's blatant accusations against Serena, Aaron felt a pang of discomfort in his chest.

"Being the weaker party doesn't always make one right," Aaron interjected.

Both Matthew and Cynthia Lynwood turned to look at Aaron, their faces falling instantly.
