Chapter 250

Serena snapped out of her daze, but her face was still ghostly pale.

After a long moment, her hands trembling, she pulled out her phone and started frantically scrolling, almost as if possessed.

The three men present exchanged uneasy glances, clearly unsettled by her behavior.

“Serena...” William spoke gently, trying to reach her.

But Serena seemed lost in her own world, completely oblivious to everything around her.

Finally, she lifted her head, clutching her phone, and hurried over to Finn. "Is this the sweater?” she asked, hope and anxiety mingling in her eyes.

Finn looked helplessly at William, then after a pause, glanced at the phone screen. His expression changed instantly. "Yes-that's the one!"

All the light seemed to drain from Serena in an instant.

She blinked hard several times, then said quietly, "Sorry, I need some air."

With that, she strode out to the backyard, disappearing like a sudden breeze. Giles and Finn were left bewildered, exchanging confused looks.
