Serena couldn't be bothered to argue with Cynthia Lynwood about the kidney transplant.

Aaron was always so protective of Cynthia-no matter what truth came out, she knew he'd just let Cynthia walk away scot-free in the end.

But the murders... that was a different story.

Serena's eyes narrowed, and a cold smile played at her lips. "If you had nothing to do with the transplant," she said quietly, "then why did you have Dr. Owens and those bodyguards killed?"

Cynthia's face twisted in outrage. "What are you even talking about? When have I ever killed anyone? Serena, don't you dare pin your mess on me. That's way out of line."

Serena stared at her, brow furrowing in frustration.
