Natalie nodded. “I know. But even if you're able to endure all of that, what about the child's questions? A child needs a father figure in life, and he will surely ask you about it. I'm sure you wouldn't want to tell him who his father is, right? After all, he is only fatherless because his father refused to accept him, and knowing that would upset him greatly.”
