Rosalie turned around. "If I went back and rested, I wouldn't come back. Is that still fine?"

"Why?" Sebastian asked in a panicked voice. "What did I do wrong this time?"

That was what Rosalie was worried about--that Sebastian might put up a front. He couldn't bear letting her stay here and take care of him, but he would get scared if she actually left.
