“No” She uttered before turning away from me as she wiped away her tears. No? Did she just utter no to me?

I scoffed as I stared at her in disbelief. Who did she think she was?

“It wasn’t asking you, we are getting married”I muttered and she turned to me with a frown.

“But I said no. Why should we get married? I don’t even know who you are,” She murmured and I clenched my fist as I was suddenly getting irritated with her. Could this work? Maybe I should just find another girl and claim she was my mate.
