All the sleep immediately disappeared as I jumped out of the bed and traced that sound of Alicia’s laughter.

I walked down the stairs and straight to the living room where they were. I stood by the door and watched as Alicia laughed to goddess knows what was funny while Damon just stood there staring at her.

“Clara, you’re awake” He uttered and I pushed myself off the door frame and walked towards him.

I gave Alicia a curt nod before turning to him with a frown.

“Why did you leave without waking me up?” I questioned and he sighed.
