A smile formed on my lips as I stared at Clara who was still sleeping peacefully on the bed.

I gently closed the door behind me before walking towards the bed and sitting down next to her.

“Why do you stress yourself so much?” I murmured to myself as I caressed her face. She always wanted to help others especially me and I just wished when she needed my help, I would be there to help her as well.

She groaned slightly before she slowly opened her eyes and stared up at me with those big hazel eyes that I loved so much.

I leaned down and placed a kiss on her nose before placing another one of her lips.

“Did I wake you?” I questioned softly and she shook her head.

“I was waiting for you to get back. Come lay down with me” She told me and I didn’t need to be told twice before climbing into bed with her.

“I missed you” I murmured as I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her closer.

She let out a cute giggle as she stared up at me.

“You were only gone for an hour, Damon,” She murmured.

“Yet every minute felt like an hour to me whenever I’m away from you. Let’s just stay in this room together, I don’t need anyone or anything else but you” I told her as my arms tightened around her body.
