Nyx simply didn’t want to continue the awkward situation with Astraea, so she accepted the gift to put her at ease. The surrounding females couldn’t wait any longer and pushed Astraea aside.

Nyx could hardly stand the noise in her ears, her head spinning. She kept nodding. “Okay, okay, just give me some time.”

After promising to give each of them a handkerchief, Nyx quickly placed an order for fabric and thread on StarNet that night.

Designing the patterns wasn’t difficult for her, and within a couple of days, she had created unique floral designs for each female. But hand–stitching the handkerchiefs would take a bit longer.
