In the Queen’s worried gaze, Nyx didn’t get angry. Instead, she comforted Aurelius, gently touching his arm, and handed him the little ball. As soon as the little ball was in Aurelius’s hands, the three tigers immediately lost interest, their enthusiasm fading.

“Sorry, this is a gift for Aurelius,” Nyx smiled apologetically at then.

Though it was just a cheap little ball, it might seem a bit petty, but she had a personal motive with Aurelius. No matter what, she didn’t want to see the little cat look hurt or dejected.

Aurelius remained calm on the outside but secretly felt a surge of joy inside. Growing up, he was always told to be tolerant and considerate, especially towards his younger brothers, always trying to do his best to please his parents.

But now, his beloved female was standing firmly by his side. Even in something as trivial as this, she was willing to protect him and care about his feelings.

Nyx held Aurelius’s hand. As she held his hand, she noticed a burn mark on Aurelius’s palm and frowned.
