Two sounds of eggshell cracking overlapped perfectly.

Archie’s expression froze, and cold sweat broke out all over his body.

As soon as the eggs left his hands, Archie immediately curled up, wrapping his arms around his head to brace himself for the males‘ wrath.

After a while, however, a soft, chubby little hand patted his head.

Archie shuddered reflexively, squeezing his eyes even tighter.

The pain he had expected never came. Instead, he heard Chubby’s babyish voice above him, full of curiosity. “Archie, what are you doing?”

Chubby’s round, wide eyes were filled with confusion.

Everyone else had already gathered around to witness the hatching, yet Archie was still squatting here, holding his head. Chubby wouldn’t allow anyone to dislike his little brothers, so he enthusiastically started promoting them.
