Chapter 17 Nice to be nice

It was sunny when I woke up. As I turned over and opened my eyes, I saw her small, pretty figure. She was sitting on the sofa, dressed up. She had magazine in her hands and she looked at me. I sat up and stretched, trying to wake up.

“It’s quarter past nine.”

“That is too early.”

But I remembered, for her, it was probably too late.

“I mean, it’s too early for me. Have y

I noticed her surprised gaze, but she didn’t say a word. After getting out of bed, I went to the bathroom. I dressed up and when I went back; I found her in the same position.

She put the magazine down and stood up, I walked to the door, and she followed me all the way down. When we arrived in the dining room, everyone was there and all of them looked at us, surprised.

“Good Morning everyone.” I said.

I pulled out a chair and motioned Alice to sit down, then I sat next to her.

“Yes, I nearly forgot how comfy my bed is.”

I laughed.

I put some food on my plate, but I noticed Alice’s plate was empty. Probably after yesterday, she didn’t dare to touch anything. I thought about what a girl like her could have for breakfast. I quickly took my phone, and I searched it on the internet. There was some cereal and fruit on the table. I took a plate, and I put some on it. I poured milk on the cereal and put it in front of her, then I took the fruit bowl and put it next to her.
