I just realised that I didn’t even know where I was going, so I took my phone, and I checked the nearest train or bus station. One was there in about ten–fifteen minutes, so I walked on. I would have preferred to run, but I didn’t want all the attention on myself. I felt so scared, but I told myself to

move on.

I felt some kind of happiness when I reached the nearest bus station. I went in, and I checked the time tables. The next one left in ten minutes to San Francisco. I thought that would be fine for now. Actually, I was okay anywhere but in Los Angeles.

There weren’t too many people there, so I bought my ticket quickly, and I walked to the platform. The bus was at the bus stop, and I felt the happiness of freedoms. I had a small smile on my face when I felt a muscular arm grabbing me from behind.

I wanted to scream, but I couldn’t, as another hand pushed a wet cloth to my mouth and nose. It smelled weird, and I could feel instantly the heaviness of my eyelids. An unfamiliar power forced me to close them, and then everything went dark.
