Chapter 1 Standing Up for Her

“Betty White, you’re disgusting! You slept with a bunch of men back in college and now want to marry a gullible guy? Not in your life!”

The sound of Calvin’s curse was getting louder and louder, attracting the attention of those sitting at nearby tables.

Their contemptuous gazes pricked Betty White’s heart. She was crucified before she could explain.

Under the table, her hands squeezed her skirt with so much force that her knuckles turned white.
