Zoe stared at Graham in horror. She crawled away from him towards the Elders’ table. “He-he’s insane! Protect me from him. I-I am not involved in it!”

Graham stalked her and kneeled in front of her. He fisted his hands in her hair and yanked her head back. He growled, “To save yourself, you are rubbing me off? I was a fool that I trusted you so blindly and stood by you. For you, I betrayed my mate. For you, I killed an Alpha.
