Axel was there almost immediately. “Thane” he called out, but the Alpha was far gone and I was a complete wreck, one thing was sure, I wouldn’t have stopped him.

“Listen to me Thane, you don’t want her hurt, remember?”

Slowly Thane’s eyes returned back to their normal colour, he stared at the mark he gave me, it still stung, but my mind was too clouded.
