Daemon had kept his distance, reminding me once again of the times back at the castle when he would withdraw into himself. He had a lot on his mind, none of which he was willing to share with me.

I didn't miss the fact that he seemed to enjoy my company, even though he never made a move on me-and I wasn't sure how that made me feel.
