Thanks to her not drinking too much of the water, Alicia snapped out of the drug's effect before anyone else could. She woke up with a splitting headache. It was as if she was wearing a helmet with a thousand needles piercing it. Every inch of her skin felt like they were pressed against a wall of needles. She lay on her bed like a piece of meat.
