Tyler’s fingers froze on the table as he cast Yale a glance. “Do you think I care about my reputation?”

Tyler’s eyes turned dark as he turned his attention to the comments online. “Any clues on Rachel’s whereabouts?”

Yale shook his head. “Not yet. The man who tried to kill her disappeared into thin air, too.”

From the corner of his eye, Tyler saw the contract he had signed with Rachel. He remembered how resolutely she had signed it and given him her word.
