The scent of chamomile from Tyler’s shampoo still lingered in the air. It was fresh and calming, making it hard to stay awake.

Rachel let out a yawn. “Stop talking already. Let me keep going.”

All she wanted now was to lull Tyler to sleep as quickly as possible.

Tyler rested his head on Rachel’s lap without hesitation. “Go on.”

Rachel looked at him. Could he not be like this?
