“Richard, you’re not … ” Donny’s face turned pale the moment he saw Richard, but he quickly regained his composure and asked, “What brings you here?”

Richard let out a cold snort. “Of course, you don’t want me to come.”

“How could that be?” Donny said insincerely, forcing a smile. “It’s wonderful news that you’re fine.”

“Donny, in order to seize control of Eclipse Group, you poisoned me with a drug laced with wolfsbane, making me too weak to resist. Then, you spread rumors that I was seriously ill and locked me up. Too bad your plan didn’t work out the way you hoped!” Richard’s cold, intense gaze fixed on Donny, his words firm and resolute.

“I didn’t do that.” Donny took a step back, sweat running down his forehead.

“You know whether it’s true or not,” Richard said, stepping up to the stage and clearing his throat. “I announce that today’s press conference is canceled. Caden will remain the Executive CEO of Eclipse Group. Effective immediately, Donny is removed from his position as Vice President and will no longer hold any role within the company. That’s all.”
