Chapter 320 Unexpected Twist at the Banquet (Part Two)

Rosaline’s POV:

I found the banquet hall and walked in. The sight of several large tables crowded with dozens of cheerful people from our film crew, all laughing and enjoying themselves, was heartwarming.

As soon as they saw me, everyone paused to greet me.

“Good evening, Ms. Sinclair!”

“Please, continue,” I said, giving them a polite smile.

Gordon stood up and called out loudly, “Ms. Sinclair, over here!”

I walked over and saw that the only available seat was next to Jasper.

I sat down. “Sorry I’m late. Something came up.”

Gordon laughed good–naturedly. “Not at all, Ms. Sinclair. We’re honored to have you join us.”

I smiled and took a deep breath, trying to ease the lingering congestion in my nose.

Jasper immediately noticed and asked with concern, “Rosaline, are you okay?”

“I have a little cold,” I answered calmly.

“Are you sure you’re alright? I’m sorry, I didn’t know you were feeling unwell,” Jasper said, sounding a bit guilty.

“It’s nothing, just a slight cold,” I replied lightly.

Jasper looked at me, a bit of sadness in his eyes. Now that my scenes were done, we wouldn’t see each other every day anymore.
