I looked at Ryan, taking a deep breath as I calmed myself down. After a moment of thought, I tried to reason with him. “This is a huge deal. How could I not know? Yura is really upset right now. You should leave her alone.”

Ryan lowered his gaze, like he was gathering his courage. Then he looked up at me and said, “Rosie, the truth is, I’ve always liked Yu. That night, running into her at the bar was an accident.
