It had been five or six days since I started staying with Jasper at the hospital. Every day, I made sure to place fresh flowers and fruit by his bedside, knowing that a pleasant environment could speed up his recovery.

Plus, he needed to regain his strength after waking up.

When news of his gunshot wound spread, his fans rushed to the hospital to visit him, but I made sure to keep them at a distance.
