I hesitated for a moment before giving a polite nod and offering a professional smile. “Hello.”

The reporter quickly scanned me before her face lit up with a bright smile. “This wedding dress looks amazing on you, Ms. Tessford. It’s a perfect match. You look even more stunning than the articles described… Oh, is Mr. Holbrook not here with you today?”

I blinked in surprise but quickly regained my composure and smiled. “Caden’s been swamped with work lately, so he let me come on my own to try on dresses. He even said we’re going to have the most extravagant wedding ever, one that will be unforgettable for a lifetime. Oh, look at me oversharing again.”

I was being intentional. Knowing she was a reporter, I figured everything I said would soon be published, making it clear to everyone that Caden was planning to marry me. Rosaline, the Omega, would lose everything.
