Early the next morning, the guest room door was suddenly flung open. I saw Vanessa, dressed up, pulling off my blanket:

"Claire, why are you still lying in bed? I heard you got sick because didn't take you with him, and you've been angry with him. I came here specifically to explain things to him, but you're so rude, still sleeping like this? I even bought you some stuff!"
