Yvonne shot back, "Who the hell said I want to make a scene? Who do you think

you are, anyway?"

As if she was some crazy ex-wife, always causing trouble. The way he said it

made Yvonne's blood boil.

Dan sighed, "Fine, fine. I'm nobody, just sign the papers."

No matter what they talked about, it always circled back to signing those damn

divorce papers.

Yvonne was seething, grinding her teeth so hard her jaw ached. She had half a

mind to smack him, but at this point, she was too exhausted for a fight-and that

just made her even angrier.

Back in the old days, if she was pissed at someone, she'd just punch the source

of her rage, and the anger would ease right up. Not now. Now it just festered.

So instead, she did the next best thing-she bit him.

Outside, Chloe had gotten into a full-on brawl with Dan's men.
