Ethan handed her the medical report. "We ran some tests when you fainted. If we had known you were pregnant, the department head would never have let you work so hard. We usually show extra care to pregnant colleagues." Bella burst into tears when she saw the report's black-and-white image of the fetus. She had been doing all she could to avoid thinking about Dominic. It seemed like life was playing a huge joke on her. Tears stained the paper as she sobbed hysterically, feeling as if the sky had fallen.

She had already aborted one child before, and she couldn't bring herself to do it again.

Hence, Bella decided to keep the child and raise them on her own. She had no plans to inform Dominic.
