Carol was livid, but she never expected the news to leak to the outside world.

She called Abner, but he didn’t pick up. Opening their chat, she dropped a question mark.

Still no response from Abner. It seemed he wasn’t going to talk to her until she returned. Taking a deep breath, she took away her

phone screen.

After the whole fiasco, the last thing she wanted was to go shopping for clothes.

Meanwhile, Felix hung up the phone, and Nathan appeared behind him, playfully nudging his back.

“Felix, were you chatting up Carol? You guys not planning on calling it quits? What if Listina finds out?”

Felix didn’t reply, and just stared blankly at his phone.

Nathan realized Felix hadn't heard a word he'd said.
