After hanging up the phone, he didn't revisit the idea of checking on Carol. Instead, he made his way to the entrance. As he arrived the house next door, where Listina lived, he found Listina slumped on the couch, tears streaming down her face, her palms smeared with blood.

"Felix." At the sight of him, Listina's sobs grew more intense. Frowning, Felix called for the family doctor and asked, "What happened?" "I was slicing apples and I cut myself by accident.
