Chapter 132

Alexander’s POV.

Sebastian smirked, a cocky tilt to his lips, even though he looked like he’d been through hell. “In the flesh,” he said, hís voice rough, filled with sarcasm, as if this moment was nothing more than a casual reunion.

But for me, it was everything. I didn’t care about the tattered clothes hanging off his thin frame or the layer of grime on his face. All I saw was my brother. My blood. The person I’d been searching for nearly eight years, now standing in front of me.

Without hesitation, I closed the distance between us in two strides and pulled him into a tight hug. He stiffened for a moment, then relaxed, his hands awkwardly patting my back. I didn’t let go. I couldn’t. My throat tightened, and I swallowed hard, holding him as if letting go would mean losing him again.

“Sebastian” I murmured, patting his back as emotions surged through me. “You’re here. You’re finally here.”

He didn’t say anything, but I could feel the tension in his body giving way as he stood there, letting me hold him. I leaned back slightly, my hands still on his shoulders, and looked him in the eyes. They were the same stormy gray as mine, but haunted. Worn. Like he’d lived a thousand lifetimes of pain since I’d last tried to reach him.

“You look terrible,” I said softly, a weak attempt at humor, though my voice cracked with emotion. “What the hell happened. to you, Sebastian?”

His smirk faltered, and his gaze dropped to the floor. “I’ve been surviving, Alex. That’s what’s happened. From hand to mouth. Day by day.” His voice was low, almost a whisper, but each word hit me like a hammer.

I gritted my teeth, anger and guilt twisting inside me. “Why didn’t you come to me? I could’ve…”

“Because I didn’t want your charity!” he snapped, his voice sharp as he looked up, his eyes blazing with anger, But then, just as quickly, his expression crumbled. “I didn’t…I couldn’t…”

His voice broke, and he turned away, his shoulders shaking. I stepped closer, placing a hand firmly on his back. “Sebastian,” I said, my tone steady but filled with determination, “you’re my brother. My blood. This isn’t charity. You should’ve come to me.”

He let out a ragged breath, and then, to my shock, he burst into tears. The sound was raw, guttural, like years of pain and bitterness spilling out all at once. It tore at my heart, and I pulled him into another hug, holding him tightly as his sobs. wracked his body.

“I’m sorry,” he choked out between gasps. “I just…I didn’t know how to… I didn’t think you’d…”

“Stop,” I interrupted firmly, my voice soft but unyielding. “You don’t have to explain. You’re here now, and that’s all that matters. You and your mother won’t suffer again. Do you hear me?” I pulled back to look him in the eyes, gripping his shoulders tightly. “From now on, you’ll live like me. Because you’re my brother. My family. And I take care of my family.”

He stared at me, his tear–streaked face filled with both disbelief and gratitude. “Alex, I—”

“No arguments,” I said, cutting him off. “This isn’t up for debate. You’re moving into a new place, and we’re going to fix everything.”

For a moment, he just stood there, staring at me as if he couldn’t believe what he was hearing. Then, slowly, he nodded, his shoulders slumping as the fight left him.

“Okay,” he whispered, his voice barely audible. “Okay.”

I nodded, gripping his shoulders one last time before releasing Him. As I stepped back, I felt a sense of relief and purpose wash over me. My brother was here. And no matter what it took, I was going to make things right.

The weight of Sebastian words sat heavy in my chest as I drove Him to one of my estates. The sprawling mansion stood ahead, its towering gates opening automatically as we approached. I glanced at Sebastianin the passenger seat, his eyes wide as he took it all in. His torn shirt and grimy jeans were such an opposite to the sleek luxury of the car’s leather interior that it made my heart ache. He had suffered far too long.
