I could feel Father had been pushing on my mind-link for hours, but I couldn't stop. He would want me back, but too much needed to be done here.

He had already sent Samson to check on me but I had just entered surgery and refused to leave...instead ordering Samson to help out where he could.

I had only just come out of my 3rd surgery since the attack. I was untrained and spent the night having the surgeon bark orders at me as I tried to keep up. I didn't take it personally, he had a job to do, as did I. save as many lives as we can.
