Initially thinking that she would be sleep-deprived, Aurora didn't expect her to sleep soundly. Perhaps it was because she had worn herself out lately. Julian held her tightly, as if she were a treasured possession he had recovered, and they slept through until morning. Accustomed to rising early, Julian watched Aurora sleep peacefully.
