Thorne was about to respond when Charlene continued, “I know you want to repay me and my grandmother for visiting your grandmother in the hospital, and you think this is a way to show gratitude. But we didn’t do it for you, so there’s no need for any projects.”

If they started doing business with The Henderson Group, both the Hawkins and Spencer families would undoubtedly cause a stir and create problems.

Even if Thorne genuinely wanted to thank her and her grandmother by offering a project to help her uncle, his heart truly belonged to Vesta.
