Chapter 645

Lisa couldn't help but feel a wave of smug satisfaction wash over her. She was convinced that Chloe was just green with envy the last time she saw her flashing that invitation. So, of course, Chloe had to crash the event without one, hoping to ride on the coattails of the Sartori family's prestige. Lisa, with a smug grin and her invitation in hand, sauntered over. "Chloe, seriously? You think you can just waltz in here without an invite and not make a fool of yourself? This isn't your backyard, you know."

Chloe gave Lisa a quick glance but didn't bother engaging. Instead, she calmly told the waiter, "I'm pretty sure the QUEEN's jewelry exhibition doesn't actually need an invitation. Maybe you should double-check with your manager."

And she was right. The exhibition had already logged all the invited guests into their system, so physical invites were more for show-a bit of pomp and circumstance, really.
