Hamilton's face was a picture of dissatisfaction.

Natalia chuckled and then pushed him out of the car.

Hamilton watched her car disappear, his lips twitching slightly.

"Unless Patrick's lost his mind, he wouldn't dare mess with me directly. But he's definitely involved. Send those two to the police, and get Patrick in there too!" After a pause, he added, "Keep Eveleen out of this. We don't need her worrying about Patrick's mess. It's just more trouble."

Alden frowned, as if he wanted to say something but eventually held back, only asking.

"So, if it wasn't Patrick, could it really be Orpheus?"

Hamilton remained silent.

A good beating never hurt anyone.

Either way, if that guy could get in touch with Orpheus's close aides, he must be connected somehow.
