Early the next morning, Joycelyn woke up to find a team of over ten stylists bustling in to prepare the bride and bridesmaids for the big day.

Isolde and Luna had their own personal stylists, while Ellison and a few of the other men only required basic grooming.

The wedding was intentionally kept simple, skipping many of the usual complicated rituals.

After her makeup was done, it was time to style her hair. Joycelyn enjoyed her breakfast as the hairstylist worked on her updo.

“Lucy, did you sleep in the room on the right side or the left side last night?” Joycelyn suddenly asked, glancing at Lucy beside her while chewing on a piece of toast.

“I stayed in the right–side room with Lucky,” Lucy replied casually.

“Really? That’s odd. I thought I heard Ellison say Haddy was staying on the right. I was worried you two might have gotten mixed up, Joycelyn said with a curious blink of her eyes.

Lucy’s previously radiant face stiffened for a brief moment, and she quickly forced a polite smile. “Ellison must have been mistaken,” she said lightly.

“Probably,” Joycelyn replied with a shrug, her curiosity satisfied. She hadn’t dwelled on the question, much less entertained the idea that there could be any connection between Lucy and Haddy.

By around ten o’clock, the wedding preparations were in full swing.

William, as the master of ceremonies, took charge of the proceedings, while Henry handled the photography for the day.
