Three hours later, Joycelyn was wearing a nightdress. Her face was flushed, and the corners of her eyes were moist.

The negligee was relatively skimpy and exposed much of her skin. It was obvious that she had just had an intense workout in bed.

Earlier, the soup was indeed meant to nourish the body in preparation for pregnancy, but it seemed like all the nourishment ended up in Ellison’s body.

Joycelyn knocked on the bathroom door. “Are you done soaking? Don’t catch a cold.”

In the bathroom, Ellison was leaning back in the bathtub with his eyes closed. There was even a fever patch on his forehead, courtesy of Joycelyn.

Under the rippling water, the raging hormones had yet to settle down in that slender and perfect figure.

“You can sleep first. I’ll soak for a while longer.” Ellison’s languid voice was somewhat hoarse.

“Don’t stay there too long. I’m going to sleep now.” Joycelyn’s entire body was aching.

After that two–hour workout, Ellison was still full of vigor. She had also taken a lot of that soup, but why was the effect so dramatic on him?

Sigh! She was so tired that she couldn’t even keep her eyes open. She flopped down on the big bed and fell asleep not long after burrowing into the blanket.

Half an hour later, Ellison emerged from the bathroom with the fever patch still stuck on his forehead.
