Chapter 135

"Warren, what brings you here?" she asked, wiping her hands as she came forward to greet him.

"I thought I'd give you a ride to the studio this morning, since you got hurt. Skip the subway hustle," Warren said, noticing her apron with a hint of hesitation. "What's all this?" Sylvia, a bit embarrassed, lifted her flour-dusted hands. "I was trying to whip up some muffins for you and Mrs. Fiona. Got caught, I see."

"Should I leave then?" Warren teased.

Sylvia laughed. "Hang on a sec. I'll be done in no time."

Warren hummed in agreement.

Sylvia quickly finished preparing breakfast and noticed Warren checking his watch. She packed everything into a newly bought lunchbox. Turning to the housekeeper, she instructed, "This one's for Mrs. Fiona. It's softer, easier on the stomach. Make sure she eats it while it's warm." "Of course."

Then, she handed Warren a lunch bag with a youthful blue checkered pattern.

"Don't mind it, Warren. All the containers are new. I planned to use them for meals at the studio."

"I don't mind. Just don't overdo it," Warren accepted the bag. "Let's go. I'll drive you to the studio."

"Okay."

Due to a small delay, Sylvia indeed couldn't catch the subway.
