Although she phrased her sentence as a question, there was a hint of certainty in her voice—it was as if she already knew the answer. “Chris was the one who spied on us, and then he told you about it.” Ethan curled his lips into a smirk upon hearing her words. Who said she’s silly? Who said she’s dumb? I only said one sentence, and she figured the whole truth out in a matter of seconds.

Furthermore, she even commented on how Keith had good qualities—that practically sounded like she was accepting his proposal. So, Ethan wasn’t wrongfully accusing her.
