Chapter 29 “Stop it!”
Edmund immediately finished peeing and ran toward Cyrus. He had decided to keep a good relationship with Cyrus no matter the cost! But when he returned, Edmund saw Nathan ordering his men to attack Cyrus. He was startled when he saw what Nathan was trying to do.
“Nathan Zuniga! You, useless man! What are you trying to do to Mr. Salazar?!” Nathan felt a chill run down his spine. When he turned around, he saw Edmund. He stammered, “Mr… Cartmill…” The gangsters around him also stopped moving.
Edmund wore a gloomy expression. He stared at Nathan and was furious.
Bang! Edmund raised his palm and slapped Nathan hard. Nathan’s face was already injured. This slap made him feel even more pain, causing his body to tremble vigorously. “Mr. Zuniga! You’re even more impressive than me now!” Nathan trembled and said, “No… Edmund glared at those gangsters fiercely, “Don’t you know how to leave?” These people understood that they could not offend a person that Nathan was also scared of. So, they left immediately. Edmund took a deep breath. He wondered what would have happened to Cyrus if he came a little later.
