Melody sat in the corner of the sofa, crying with a beer bottle in her arms. Her makeup was already smudged, and her mascara was running from her eyes. She looked like a mess.

Briana walked over, sat down next to her, and took the beer bottle from her arms. “What happened? Where is your boyfriend?”

Melody cried harder at the word “boyfriend”. She sobbed and said brokenly, “That scumbag… I dumped him…”
