Estelle’s heart was wrenched with pain. “No, it’s not like that!” “Then go save them! They’re waiting for you. If you don’t go, they’ll die!” Estelle nodded frantically and said, “I’m on it, I’m going to save them!” “Hurry, or it’ll be too late!” Raiden urged. Anxiety painted Estelle’s face as she felt for her gun and then spun around, sprinting towards the abandoned factory ahead. She ran swiftly, her face stripped of panic, replaced by a fierce determination to stand with her team till the end. Behind her, Raiden watched with an indifferent gaze as Estelle dashed towards the edge of the rooftop. A helicopter approached midair, and Josiah, standing aboard, suddenly exclaimed with surprise, “I see Estelle! She’s up on the rooftop!” His eyes widened in shock as he cried out, “What is she doing?” Amiee looked up from her computer to the rooftop where Estelle was running wild and said sternly, “She’s been controlled!” Josiah’s face turned ashen. “Get us closer, now, to the rooftop!” The helicopter surged forward. At the same moment, Estelle reached the edge and, without a moment’s hesitation, leaped from the fifty-story rooftop! “Estelle!” Josiah roared and, without time to strap on a parachute, grabbed a rope and leapt from the helicopter, plummeting towards Estelle at breakneck speed. The howling wind wrapped around Estelle’s falling body. Josiah closed in relentlessly, flinging the rope to catch Estelle’s tumbling form, and the two were suspended midair by the aircraft. Amiee watched the heart-stopping scene, her racing heart slowly steadying as she turned back to calmly instruct the pilot, “Get us out of Zion, now!” The helicopter shot upwards, heading northwest away from Zion. Raiden moved to the edge of the rooftop, looking up at Estelle who was
