He sneered, his face shadowed with menace. “Mind your own business. Crossing me won’t end well for you.”

Gabriel flicked his cigarette butt with a sharp gesture, sending it sailing flawlessly into a trash can. He followed up with a swift kick, his movement fierce and brutal, sending Timothy flying through the air.

With a loud “thud,” Timothy hit the wall and then collapsed to the ground with a thump, his body convulsing in pain. Before he could even attempt to get up, another vicious kick from Gabriel sent him tumbling headfirst into the garbage bin.

Having dealt with Timothy, Gabriel cast a cold glance at Sylvia and turned to head back toward the private booth.

Sylvia hurried after him, tentatively grabbing the sleeve of his shirt. “Hey, hero, how about I show my gratitude with a little more… personal thanks?”

Gabriel paused mid-stride and looked back at her, his eyes gloomy and expression indifferent. “You’re in the mood for jokes?”

“I’m deadly serious,” Sylvia chuckled, her eyes glimmering mischievously.

As she spoke, she noticed a girl approaching and quickly pushed open the door to the nearby booth, pulling Gabriel inside with her.
