Magdalen burst into laughter, "Sounds good."

She handed the deck of cards to Amiee. "While Amiee shuffles, let me explain the rules. It's simple: high card wins. The person with the highest card gets to make a request, and the person with the lowest card faces a penalty. You choose: Truth or Dare. Got it?"

Everyone agreed, and Amiee quickly shuffled the cards.

Each person drew three cards. It couldn't be simpler.

When the cards were revealed, Magdalen had the highest card, while Marina had the lowest.

Susanna, who had been somewhat on guard, relaxed. She had thought maybe someone could manipulate the deck, but it seemed she was worried over nothing!

Magdalen, gripping her winning cards, couldn't hide her glee. She turned to Marina, "Your pick, truth or dare?"

Marina, catching the mischievous glint in Magdalen's eye, was about to opt for truth when Susanna, rather coolly, interjected, "Marina's definitely going for truth!"

Marina blinked, turning to Susanna in surprise, "How did you guess, Ms. Murphy?"

They weren't exactly close, making Susanna's comment all the more unexpected.

"Marina doesn't like Mr. Foster. Imagine how awkward it would be if she had to kiss him on a dare," Susanna said, her gaze sharp on Marina.

Estelle, watching the exchange, simply smiled, "Awkward? It's not like they haven't kissed before!"
