Chapter 1 Let’s Get A Divorce

It was a cool autumn night and the rain was pouring.

Evelyn Shelton stood in front of the gate of Hill Villa with no umbrella.

Her clothes were wet, but she didn’t seem to notice. She took off her coat and wrapped it around the gift in her arms.

Today was her first wedding anniversary with Jerry Graves. She was supposed to be at her parents‘ house today, but she had bought a gift for her husband without him knowing. It was a surprise.

When she finally walked to the door, her clothes were completely soaked.

As she was taking off her shoes, she noticed a pair of women’s high heels on the floor.

Evelyn knew very well that those were NOT her shoes.

It was like her heart had stopped beating. She gently put her things on the floor and slowly walked toward the master bedroom upstairs.

The closer she got, the clearer the conversation became.

It was Évelyn’s husband, Jerry, with another woman…

Even if she couldn’t see what was going on inside, she could imagine exactly what was going on just by listening to their sounds of pleasure.

“Who’s better, me or Evelyn?!”

The woman’s question made Evelyn’s stomach tighten. She wanted to vomit.

Then, she heard an answer that broke her heart. “Are you kidding me, I don’t even want to touch her!”

The worst part is, her husband wasn’t lying. Jerry has never touched her since they got married more than a year ago. The reason he said was that he had “performance issues“.

But now, her husband was making love to another woman.
