As rounds of applause erupted, the organizers of the Wolkin competition presented a list of finalists.
Seated in the audience, Lisa’s gaze was unswervingly fixed on the thin sheet of paper, her fingers clenched into a fist.
According to the rules, twenty individuals would advance to the finals among the submitted architectural designs. An
international panel of judges would then determine the ultimate allocation of the gold, silver, and bronze awards.
Previously, Charlotte had obtained the gold award from Wolkin.
Perhaps due to the commotion at the entrance or the prestige of being a former gold medalist, Charlotte could feel
countless eyes cast upon her, carrying subtle scrutiny.
Charlotte lowered her eyes, a faint smile tugging at her lips, her expression remarkably indifferent.
“I am honored to announce that the outstanding designers who have made it to the finals this time are…” The organizers
looked at the list and read out the names one by one.
The finalists displayed joy and happiness, while those who didn’t make it felt a sense of disappointment, inevitably

Charlotte glanced at Lisa not far away, whose dress had already been wrinkled from being clenched, her emotions on the

Next was the celebratory banquet, and Charlotte stood amidst the crowd, receiving congratulations from various people,
some sincere and others not so much, her smile faint.
Suddenly, a figure emerged from somewhere, rushing fiercely toward Charlotte.
